As the years have gone by, daytime partying in Ibiza has become an ever-increasing trend. In fact, you’d be forgiven to say that clubbing in Ibiza is now as much about how you party before the sun sets, as well as how you choose to party at night.
Daytime parties in Ibiza come in all shapes and sizes, from the biggest superclubs on the island to the smallest remote venues. And, thanks to Ibiza’s consistently incredible weather during the summer months, it’s no surprise that Ibiza’s Pool Parties are now hugely popular right throughout the summer.
If you’re coming to Ibiza in 2024, we think you should go to at least one pool party while you’re here. But which one to pick when there are so many? Well, let our Ibiza Pool Party Guide help you make that decision.

What are Ibiza Pool Parties?
Ok, this one may sound a little obvious at first: an Ibiza Pool Party is a party at a venue in Ibiza that has a swimming pool. There, we said it! However, as you’ll see in our list below, pool parties vary significantly from venue to venue.
The biggest difference comes down to how central the “pool” part of the venue really is. You might have a great view of the DJ from the pool and it’ll be packed with everyone else at the party.
Or… the pool might be a complete sideshow from the main party. You might not even be allowed to go in the main pool at all!
Something we should make clear though is this: you absolutely don’t need to “get in” the pool at any Ibiza pool party. The decision is completely up to you!
Where can I find Ibiza Pool Parties?
You can find Ibiza Pool Parties all over the island.
In general, Ibiza has two main areas for clubbing. On the east of the island there’s Playa d’en Bossa. It’s famous for its long sandy beach, low-passing planes as they take off from the nearby airport, and some of Ibiza’s biggest indoor and outdoor clubs.
On the west coast, you have San Antonio. It’s known for its incredible sunset strip and has a huge offering of pool parties taking place right through the summer.
It’s not just about the big clubs though. You might find a pool party at your hotel wherever you’re staying on the island. We’re pretty confident Ibiza has the highest number of resident hotel DJs anywhere in the world!
You absolutely don’t need to get in the pool at any Ibiza pool party. The decision is completely up to you!
Which DJs play at Ibiza Pool Parties?
Speaking of DJs, you’ll want to know who’s playing at your pool party.
Well, this is where you need to do your research ahead of time. Many pool parties have resident DJs, meaning you can be sure of seeing a specific DJ at the venue each week. So if you’re a big fan of Joel Corry for example, you can be sure he’ll be playing at Ibiza Rocks during his summer residency.
As a rule of thumb: Ushuaïa, Destino, Ibiza Rocks, and O Beach are the venues where you’ll find the biggest DJs playing. So bear that in mind when you’re doing your party planning.
By the way: our calendar pages will always have the up-to-date lineups for each party taking place throughout the summer. A single event will likely have anywhere from 3-6 DJs playing throughout the party. And on that note, Pool Parties in Ibiza usually last for 7 hours.
At the same time, you might not be so worried about who’s going to be DJing. Trust us, that’s perfectly fine too!
Taking in the atmosphere at any club’s pool party will be worth it alone. And who knows… you might just find your new favourite DJ at the pool party.
What do you wear to a pool party in Ibiza?
We’ve said it already but let’s say it again: you don’t need to get in the pool at a pool party.
However, at some venues, it’s far more likely you’ll want to at least get your feet wet. The two venues where we reckon you’ll be in the pool are O Beach and Ibiza Rocks.
So if you do plan on jumping in, make sure to bring your swim gear! You must also bring footwear to enter and leave the party.
Other than that the dress code is very relaxed (just like it is for nearly all clubs in Ibiza). You should wear whatever makes you comfortable. Keep in mind you’ll likely be out in the sun all day!
The only exception to the dress code policy at all venues is sports team shirts – these are a big no-no ⛔️
Ibiza Pool Party Tickets
Tickets are required for most Ibiza Pool Parties, and can nearly always be purchased online in advance.
Some smaller Pool Parties, for example anything taking place at a hotel, won’t require tickets. However, if you’re going to one of Ibiza’s clubs, we always recommend buying tickets before you go to the party.
We suggest this because buying tickets in advance is always cheaper compared to buying on the door of the party. You’ll have guaranteed entry, and it’s one less thing to think about when you’re on the island.
Events at clubs such as Ushuaïa and O Beach are frequently selling out, especially in the peak summer months. So if you know you’ll be heading to the party, don’t delay in getting the tickets and save yourself some money!

Ibiza Rocks

Situated in the heart of San Antonio, Ibiza Rocks calls itself the “home of the pool party”. And it’s pretty difficult to argue with that statement.
The venue is in fact a hotel, which was redeveloped nearly 20 years ago to put live music front and centre of its large internal courtyard. While there’s now a large stage and dance floor in the middle of the action, its pool has always remained accessible and open to all as a place to enjoy the party.
The water is only knee height and has a great view of the stage if you want to cool off during the party. Ibiza Rocks also offers a range of poolside beds that can be reserved for its parties throughout the week.
So if you want to see the likes of Craig David or Ben Hemsley while in Ibiza, this is the perfect venue for your pool party.

O Beach

Also located in San Antonio, O Beach has built a global reputation in the last decade for throwing the biggest and wildest pool parties you’re likely to see anywhere in Ibiza. It’s called the “ultimate day club” for a very good reason.
Its trademark orange theme is instantly recognisable, and its daily pool parties only seem to become more and more epic with each season that passes. This is definitely a pool party that we recommend bringing your swimwear to and getting stuck in.
Why? Well, the pool is really at the heart of the 2,000-capacity venue. While it’s very common to rent a daybed, we still think the best place to enjoy O Beach is the pool itself. And if you fancy mixing the two, why not book your bed in the pool for the best of both worlds?
In the past, most of the DJs would be weekly residencies, but in recent years the club has been attracting some of the biggest names in the business. Our recommendation is to check out D4 Dance, a relatively new party hosted by none other than the legendary Defected Records.

Ushuaïa

Ushuaïa is one of the most famous clubs in Ibiza. It’s a huge 4,000-capacity outdoor venue that attracts the biggest international superstar DJs to its packed daily parties, such as Calvin Harris and David Guetta.
But wait a second – is Ushuaïa really a pool party? Well technically, yes it is. While the superclub may well be known for its massive stage and dance floor, let’s not forget that in the middle of the venue, there’s a huge swimming pool!
However, there’s a catch. You can’t go into that main pool during the party. It’s essentially off-limits and is sometimes used as part of the production for the event taking place. But have no fear: if you want to get your feet wet there’s a far smaller paddling pool at the back of the venue to enjoy too. And given its location, it’s a much less crowded place to enjoy the party!
Everyone should witness the incredible production of Ushuaïa when they go to Ibiza. Our advice for Ushuaïa is to your parties well in advance so you know who’ll be playing. Give ANTS (Saturdays) a try if you’re unsure!

Destino

Destino is Pacha’s luxury hotel resort, located a couple of miles away from Ibiza Town. Set in the hills, it has stunning views of the Old Town and Ibiza’s port.
Its pool is a thing of beauty too. Designed after the iconic Pacha cherry logo, it’s a perfect place to while away the days if you’re lucky enough to be staying at the hotel.
And what about the pool parties? Well, Destino doesn’t host daily parties like many of the venues on this list. Instead, the venue hosts various “one-off” events throughout the summer, making maximum use of its outdoor covered stage and dancefloor situated right next to the pool.
You could call it a more intimate version of Ushuaïa. Certainly not the same scale of party, but make no mistake: some of the parties at Destino are huge, and it’s a firm favourite of island legend Marco Carola. The Music On boss hosts various daytime parties here during the season, and if that’s not enough of an excuse to book your daybed by the pool, then we don’t know what is!

Next on the list is Nikki Beach.
The luxury beach club and restaurant in its own words is a “paradise tucked away in the beautiful beach of the Santa Eulalia area”. And it’s a stunning venue: the perfect place to spend the day enjoying some of Ibiza’s finest food, before letting loose as the daily pool parties commence.
Whether you’re dancing in the cool waters or soaking up the sun with a champagne flute in hand, Nikki Beach’s pool parties promise an atmosphere of exclusive luxury and exhilarating live entertainment.

Oku Ibiza is one of the island’s newest high-end hotels, located just a few minutes’ drive north of San Antonio in Cala Gració. Its beautiful pool area hosts a weekly pool sessions party, which welcomes both hotel and non-hotel guests alike.
Spoil yourself and book a daybed for one of its Wednesday parties, where you’ll hear local resident DJs play alongside live acts.
It’s our favourite new luxury pool party experience on the island and could be the perfect choice for your trip in 2024.

Es Paradis is one of Ibiza’s very eldest clubs and has been throwing parties for a huge five decades. It’s often referred to as one of the world’s most beautiful clubs, with its open-plan layout and multitude of levels and spaces to explore.
But how does the club make it onto our list of pool parties? Well, one of its original and most famous parties is the “Fiesta del Agua”, which, you guessed it, is a huge water party.
Bring your swimwear for this one as the main dancefloor transforms into a swimming pool when the party gets started. Don’t believe us? You’ll have to witness it to believe it 😉
